Springfield, VA

St. Mark’s Montessori School, a non-profit school located in Springfield, Virginia is seeking an exceptional applicant with Montessori training or experience, for position of Lead Teacher in our After Care program.

The school houses three primary classrooms, and one Before & After Care classroom. We offer competitive salaries, and several professional development opportunities sponsored by the school throughout the year.

This is an immediate position.
Successful candidates must:
Have at a minimum an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Montessori Teacher Certification.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Obtain CPR, First Aid, and MAT certifications.
Successfully complete background checks required by Virginia Department of Social Services.

Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience and competitive with private Montessori schools in the area.
