Moonflower Montessori School in beautiful Abingdon, VA is seeking a Montessori trained primary guide to lead our primary classroom (ages 3-6).
We are a young, growing school with dedicated and positive families and children who are excited to bring the Montessori method to southwest VA.

Applicants should have excellent interpersonal skills with both students and parents, be good team members, carry themselves with a sense of integrity, and exhibit passion, joy, and flexibility in their craft.

Applicant’s with MACTE accredited Early Childhood Montessori Certificate are preferred. Applicants with teaching experience will be given priority.

Moonflower Montessori School is located in the historic district of downtown Abingdon, Virginia. Moonflower students engage the local community and have access to art and culture, historic sites, local events, a public library, parks, and a community farmers’ market. Nestled in the heart of southern Appalachia, the town of Abingdon is a regional hub with a thriving arts and culture scene. The area offers abundant opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to hike, bike, climb, paddle, fish and explore.
