Teacher assistant/ Toddler's

Montessori Country School in Herndon, Virginia has an immediate opening for a Montessori experienced assistant o assist in our toddler program and lead our toddler aftercare. This position offers the opportunity to become familiar with our school and toddler program and for a teacher or experienced assistant who might be looking to get her training for an experienced teacher or recent graduate to eventually be able to have her own classroom as enrollment continues to grow. This position has the hours of 8:00 to 4:30. We welcome applicants with AMS or AMI qualifications.

Montessori Country School is situated on nearly two and 1 /2 acres of green open area's. We have an outdoor learning environment and spacious open classrooms. Montessori Country School is 48 year old non-profit school.

We seek an organized, warm, flexible guide with AMS or AMI qualifications or experience Montessori assistant who is authorized to work in the US and is able to communicate effectively and professionally with parents, students, and staff. A positive attitude and sensitivity to confidentiality are essential characteristics for the ideal candidate.
