Inga Sieminski
Inga’s Montessori journey began in 1985 when her son attended Aquinas Montessori School in Alexandria, VA. She established a farm-based primary Montessori program in Maryland and has been an elementary guide and Director of Education in Washington, DC and Virginia. As Arts-Integration Coordinator for the DC public school system, Inga’s work in marketing, community outreach, fundraising, and professional development reached into underserved communities, in collaboration with The Kennedy Center and Washington National Opera. Having combined Montessori and Carl Orff’s pedagogies throughout her career, Inga has written a lesson manual for Montessori teachers, Montessori and Orff’s Elemental Music: Pathways to Universal Musicianship. Her international workshops include multi-sensory aspects of Orff Music Therapy in support of learning diversity in the classroom.
