Jean Peters has been a guide in Montessori environments for over 20 years. She is certified at both the Elementary and Primary levels. In addition to her dual training, she also holds a M.Ed. from Loyola University. Jean started her career in Montessori as a primary guide in Minnesota, then she started an elementary program at White Bear Montessori, White Bear Lake MN. Jean moved to Virginia in 2007 and spent 7 years as an upper elementary guide at Mountaintop Montessori. She is also involved in the Montessori Model United Nations, founded the Commonwealth Montessori Initiative, and is a mentor for both teachers and students. Jean currently works for LePort schools as the east cost region Montessori Coordinator.
