Improvisational Play for Engagement, Agreement, and Transformation

Both Montessori pedagogy and comedic improvisation share the fundamental tenets of creating collaborative communities through respect and celebration of individuals’ unique perspectives and experiences. During this workshop, participants will learn a multitude of games and activities aimed at building common ground amongst their students or faculty through understanding, being present and in the moment, and co-creating through joy and play. These exercises are adapted for online participation, giving guides and leaders tools for community engagement even when we are physically distant from each other. Geared toward elementary and adolescent guides, and leaders of teams.
