Come explore how adults process experiences in developmentally different ways and explore 4 pillar practices—teaming, collegial inquiry, mentoring, and providing leadership roles—that create vibrant, nurturing communities of life-long learners and leaders.
Susanne is the former Head of Richmond Montessori School (2008-2014) where she led planning initiatives for campus expansion, dual accreditation, fund development/ capital campaign, and recruitment of teachers and students. She was interim head for the Orchard House School (2015-2016) and has worked with several Virginia Schools and their governing boards to support their long-range planning initiatives. Susanne holds a Montessori School Administrator credential from the American Montessori Society.
Katie Keller Wood, MEd, is executive director of CMStep, the Cincinnati Montessori Secondary Teacher Education Program, and an adjunct instructor at Xavier University, both in Cincinnati, OH. She is a doctoral student at the University of Virginia and lives in Richmond. AMS-credentialed (Secondary I – II).
