RSVP PLEASE
Are your students wiggly?  Are you wondering how to give them a movement break without sacrificing Montessori theory and pedagogy?

Please join The Del Ray Montessori School staff for our next Montessori Mingle:
Thursday, February 6, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Bon Vivant Cafe and Farm Market
2016 Mt. Vernon Ave., Alexandria VA 22301.

We will learn about ways to give our children gross motor experiences throughout the day, using materials that support independence and free choice and provide activity for the child's mind and body.  DRMS’s Resource Specialist, Katie Farris, who is also an Occupational Therapist, along with Sarah Fondriest, Head of School, will discuss the school’s movement program and demonstrate how it is implemented within a Montessori environment.

Come and mingle with old and new friends over snacks, or purchase beverages or dinner from Bon Vivant’s tempting menu.

The Virginia Montessori Association is a non-profit (501(c)3) that was established in 2015 to bring Montessorians in Virginia together and to offer a community from which we all could benefit.  Administrators, educators, parents and other supporters can connect, inform and communicate in a way that is of value to all.
