Are you passionate about Montessori education and interested in helping shape the future of Montessori in Virginia? The Virginia Montessori Association is now accepting nominations for new board members!

We’re looking for engaged, initiative-taking, and creative problem-solvers who are excited to contribute their time, ideas, and talents to our statewide and regional Montessori community. Montessori-trained, or Virginia-based are NOT a requirement. We’re looking for people who care deeply about Montessori and are willing to go above and beyond their 9-to-5 to support the work of VMA.

What to expect:

• Approximately 8-10 hours per month, on average

• A greater time commitment around the annual VMA conference, held every October

• Opportunities to contribute to VMA’s programs, communications, advocacy, membership, and strategic direction

• The chance to connect with and support Montessori educators, schools, and families across Virginia
