As Assistant Children's House Teacher, you'll...
Support the implementation of Montessori enrichment on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and assist in delivering lesson plans and tracking follow-up work according to classroom schedule/daily routine.
Assist the Children's House Lead Teacher in maintaining daily records and communicate with families via our app.
Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
Be responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately prepared environment.
Attend biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.
Be physically able to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
Have the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.
Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
