As Assistant Children's House Teacher, you'll...


  • Support the implementation of Montessori enrichment on a weekly basis covering all areas of child development and assist in delivering lesson plans and tracking follow-up work according to classroom schedule/daily routine.

  • Assist the Children's House Lead Teacher in maintaining daily records and communicate with families via our app.

  • Establish a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.

  • Be responsible for the safety and well-being of each child, responding to their emotional needs; and maintaining an organized, clean, safe, and appropriately prepared environment. 

  • Attend biannual parent/teacher conferences during the month of November and May.

  • Be physically able to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.

  • Have the ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

  • Carry out the daily responsibilities of the classroom relating to the care of the children.
