We are on the lookout for a dedicated Montessori educator to join our team for 2025-2026! As a new establishment, we offer you a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping our exciting adventure! Your role would be to work alongside the founder/director as we develop our toddler program and grow. We are looking for someone who is hardworking, kind, and passionate about working with children and families. Experience working with toddler-aged children in other childcare centers is a plus!

About Us:

Starling Montessori School is an exciting addition to the Montessori educational landscape, situated in the vibrant Capitol Hill District of Washington, D.C. Our school was established in 2024 as a labor of love by a dedicated Montessori teacher and new mother, driven by the desire to create a nurturing Montessori environment where her own children could thrive.

As a cozy, one-classroom school, we are deeply committed to serving local families and providing genuine Montessori education to children between the ages of 16 months and 3 years. Our founder is highly qualified, holding multiple levels of AMI training and boasting a wealth of experience in teaching within Montessori settings. We are passionate about fostering a rich learning experience for all students and establishing a local community school.

Qualifications:

• MACTE Accredited Montessori Teaching Certification

• AMI or AMS Diploma for 0-3 (or in progress) Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associate's in ECE

• Experience working with young children

• A strong team member with excellent collaboration skills

• Excellent communication skills

• Deep understanding of childhood development

• Authorization to work in the USA is required.
