We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Trained Teacher to lead a Primary Montessori classroom serving children ages 3–6 years. In this role, you will utilize your Montessori training and early childhood education expertise to support children's developmental milestones, encourage independence, and cultivate a lifelong love of learning. Your enthusiasm and commitment will help create a positive atmosphere where children thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. Duties

  • Develop and implement Montessori-based curriculum plans tailored to individual student needs, emphasizing hands-on learning and child-centered activities

  • Create a stimulating classroom environment that promotes exploration, creativity, and independence in line with Montessori principles

  • Observe and assess children's developmental progress regularly, maintaining detailed records of their growth and achievements

  • Facilitate age-appropriate lessons in literacy, math, science, social studies, and practical life skills using Montessori materials

  • Manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement strategies and effective behavior management techniques

  • Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress, milestones, and any concerns, fostering strong home-school partnerships

  • Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain a safe, healthy environment by adhering to health and safety standards such as first aid and CPR certifications


Qualifications

  • Valid Montessori teaching certification or diploma from an accredited program with comprehensive training in Montessori methodology

  • Prior experience working with young children in preschool or daycare settings, ideally within Montessori environments

  • Strong knowledge of child development principles, early intervention strategies, and childhood education best practices

  • Proficiency in curriculum development, lesson planning, classroom management, and behavior management techniques

  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and administrators

  • Familiarity with childhood welfare standards, standardized testing procedures, and early childhood education regulations

  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic classroom setting


Certifications in first aid and CPR are preferred but required for employment; ongoing professional development is encouraged
