Montessori 0-3 Lead Guide

Middleburg Montessori School is a VAIS-accredited and an AMI-recognized School that has served children from birth through 15 years of age for forty-five years. We are looking to fill a professional teacher role with an enthusiastic, capable adult who is genuinely interested in child development and advocating for the child.


  • Montessori Diploma ages 0-3 or 3-6 (or currently in progress). Preference will be given to AMI & AMS Diploma holders.

  • Bachelor's Degree (any field) or Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.

  • Prior experience working with children in a Montessori or Early childhood care setting.

  • Strong understanding of Montessori philosophy, principles, and classroom management skills.

  • Excellent communication skills, with a collaborative approach to working with parents, colleagues, and students.

  • Passion for nurturing the intellectual, social, and emotional development of young children.

  • Adaptable to changing circumstances and ability to be flexible.
