Elementary and Primary Guides

Aquinas and Old Town Montessori Schools are seeking flexible and creative elementary and primary guides.

Due to COVID-19, we may be able to accommodate teachers who are seeking part time or full time schedules.

We seek organized and warm guides with either AMI or AMS Montessori qualifications who are authorized to work in the US and are able to communicate effectively and professionally with parents, students, and staff. A positive attitude and sensitivity to confidentiality are essential characteristics for the ideal candidate.

Aquinas Montessori School is situated on nearly two wooded acres of property formerly owned by George Washington.

Old Town Montessori School is located in the heart of historic Old Town Alexandria. Both campuses are near Washington, DC, the Potomac River and the National Mall. We are close to the outdoors as well as to the best museums, theaters, and restaurants.

Established in 1965, Aquinas and Old Town Montessori Schools serve children ages 3 to 12 in 8 classrooms on two campuses.

Salary is commensurate with credentials and experience and competitive with private Montessori schools in the area.
