Generations Montessori School of Charlottesville is looking for a warm and dependable Assistant Guide to join our Toddler Program in Fall 2025. As we celebrate our 10th year serving families in the Charlottesville area, we invite you to become part of a community that values respect, growth, and joyful learning.


• Supervise and ensure the safety and well-being of the children at all times

• Complete at least 16 hours of professional development each year

• Be familiar with the regulations set out by the Virginia Department of Social Services

• Exhibit a genuine, nurturing, caring attitude to all students

• Assist lead teacher in any way possible, including but not limited to...

  • Preparing and setting up activities, including snack

  • Implementing portions of the daily program as directed by the lead teacher

  • Assisting in keeping the classroom, storage areas, playground area, and bathrooms clean, neat, orderly, and sanitized.

  • Assist with feedings, diaper changes, nap routines, etc.
