Are you a passionate and experienced Montessorian ready to make a direct impact? We're seeking a dedicated Principal Coach to provide intensive, on-site mentoring and guidance for FCPS’ exciting new Montessori program. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing a thriving Montessori learning environment.

In this focused role, you will:

• Provide personalized, on-site coaching: Offer comprehensive mentoring, concentrating on Montessori philosophy, pedagogy, leadership development, and operational management tailored to a new program.

• Offer tailored guidance for program launch: Develop actionable strategies to address the unique challenges of establishing a new Montessori program and foster the school’s professional growth in Montessori.

• Collaborate on strategic initiatives: Work closely with the principal and central office on specific projects, initiatives, and long-term goals designed to ensure the successful implementation and growth of the new Montessori program.

• Establish a strong foundation: Support the school in developing a positive school culture and effective instructional practices within the newly formed Montessori environment.

  
  

We're looking for candidates with:

• A Master's degree and 5+ years of experience in education leadership.

• A postgraduate educational license with administration and supervision PreK-12 endorsement.

• Deep knowledge of Montessori philosophy and practices, with experience in program development preferred.

• Strong leadership development and professional development skills.

• Montessori Credential (Preferred).

• Experience helping to establish new Montessori programs is highly desired.

• Contract: 260-Day Contract

• Salary: $117,997 - $179,505 (Unified Scale-Schedule C/Grade 004)
