Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori activities that promote sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, and early childhood development.
Observe and assess each child's progress, tailoring activities to meet individual needs and developmental milestones.
Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence, responsibility, and curiosity.
Foster positive behavior management strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution among toddlers.
Collaborate with parents and caregivers to share insights on each child's progress and provide guidance on developmental support at home.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.
Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities as necessary.
Experience
Must be Montessori certified
Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential.
Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and Montessori teaching methods.
Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler care techniques.
Familiarity with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and engagement.
Certifications such as first aid, CPR, or special education training are highly desirable.
Background in working with children with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to support diverse learners.
Proven ability to build trusting relationships with young children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative learning environment.
