Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori activities that promote sensory exploration, fine and gross motor skills, and early childhood development.

  • Observe and assess each child's progress, tailoring activities to meet individual needs and developmental milestones.

  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment that encourages independence, responsibility, and curiosity.

  • Foster positive behavior management strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution among toddlers.

  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to share insights on each child's progress and provide guidance on developmental support at home.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures and emergency protocols.

  • Support inclusive practices by working effectively with children with disabilities or special needs, adapting activities as necessary.


Experience

  • Must be Montessori certified

  • Prior experience working with children in a daycare, preschool, or early childhood education setting is essential.

  • Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and Montessori teaching methods.

  • Experience caring for infants and toddlers, including infant care routines and toddler care techniques.

  • Familiarity with classroom management strategies that promote positive behavior and engagement.

  • Certifications such as first aid, CPR, or special education training are highly desirable.

  • Background in working with children with disabilities or special needs enhances your ability to support diverse learners.

  • Proven ability to build trusting relationships with young children, parents, and team members to foster a collaborative learning environment.
