The Arlington Montessori House (AMH) is an amazing community school that was established over 30 years ago and has grown and thrived over the years. We are looking for a well-qualified, experienced A to I Guide for the school year 2025/26 and beyond. We want an eager, confident, compassionate, and loving individual who is interested in joining a close-knit and supportive team environment. We are dedicated to our children and each other and are looking for someone with our similar passion for the AMI Montessori method.

This position is a unique opportunity to participate in the inaugural year of the full opening of AMH’s new classroom building which will house the toddler community. The new building is slated to open in May 2025.

AMH is an AMI-recognized school in a walkable, metro-friendly neighborhood. We have two primary and one toddler Montessori classrooms. The primary classrooms are housed in two charming bungalows and the campus is completed with a large playground and two children’s gardens. The Board of Directors, comprised of parents, staff and alumni families, strongly support the school and staff.

The position begins as early as June 1, 2025, but no later than late August 2025.

The daily work hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Benefits include a health plan, a 401(k) retirement plan, and paid leave in addition to the days off related to holidays and school breaks. Previous experience in a toddler community classroom is strongly preferred. Salary is negotiable based upon experience; year-round employment is preferred.
