We are looking for a Primary (3-6) Teacher for our Gordon Avenue location for the 2023-2024 school year. Candidates should hold Children’s House/Primary certification from a MACTE-accredited training center or be willing to begin training before starting work. We are looking for individuals who will be committed to upholding Montessori techniques and philosophy while supporting colleagues and families with an emphasis on collaboration and support. Salary starts between $33,000 and $37,000 based on experience and training. The Academic calendar runs from mid-August-early June. Schedule M-F, 8-3. About Us The Springs was founded in 1966 as a private school to provide Montessori classes for children in the Northern Virginia area. Since that time, The Springs has seen major growth. The successful candidate will be responsible for a mixed-age classroom comprised of 12-15 16 months to 3-year-olds. Job Description: The Montessori Teacher is responsible for all aspects of the educational advancement for the students under her/his charge utilizing the best principles based in the Montessori tradition of education.
