Albemarle Montessori Children's Community is looking for an upbeat individual to step into the role of the assistant in one of our Primary Classrooms, as the previous assistant will be going to train to be a Lead Guide. As you can see, we support growth here. The classroom is still fairly new and it will take some time and patience to help the children settle into the groove, so we are looking for someone goal oriented with great follow through. The position is full time, Mon through Fri, and starts at 7:15 am each day. It involves helping children stay focused by limiting distractions, assisting with conflict resolution, cleaning the materials and classroom, and following state laws concerning daycares.
