We are looking for a Lead Toddler Teacher for our Gordon Avenue location for the 2021-2022 school year. Candidates should hold Infant/Toddler certification from a MACTE accredited training center or be willing to begin training before starting work.

We are looking for individuals who will be committed to upholding Montessori techniques and philosophy while supporting colleagues and families with an emphasis on collaboration and support. Punctuality and strong written communications skills are a must, as is a deep respect for children and our envirmenment.

Our Montessori community is made stronger by the leadership of our trained teachers who value our commitment to a joyful, diverse, and peaceful community. Salary starts between $30,000 and $35,000 based on experience and training.

​Academic calendar runs mid-August-early June. Schedule M-F, 8-3. Benefits include health coverage, PTO, holiday pay, and Simple IRA.

​We are looking for individuals who have a passion for Montessori and working with children ages 3 to 6 years. This position requires you to support the Lead Guide in the day to day operations of the classroom, providing a safe and clean learning environment for all children in your care. You will be able to participate in training as required by licensing and the school. Report to work at your scheduled time, participate in parent observation days and other duties upon request.

This position is from 8 am-4pm Monday-Friday. We are a year round program with summer camp. Responsibilities require you to present the Montessori pedagogy to the families and children we serve daily. Daily record keeping on Montessori Compass.

​Lead Guides are responsible for the health and safety of all children in their care. You will conduct Parent teacher conferences, parent observation days, participate in training sessions required by licensing and the school, and report to staff meetings. Lead Guides are also responsible for representing the school in a positive professional manner.
