Staunton Montessori School is currently seeking an Adolescent guide to join our community for the 2022-23 school year and beyond. Serving students 3-18 years old, our mission at Staunton Montessori School is to respect the mind, imagination, and spirit of each student. Grounded in the philosophy of Maria Montessori, we create an environment where children are empowered to fulfill their academic, personal and social potential.

Located in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia, SMS is an AMI recognized school who offers salaries commensurate with experience and a benefits package which includes paid time off, tuition remission, optional health insurance, and professional development opportunities.

Our collaborative, supportive team welcomes applicants who hold a Montessori teaching certificate, preferably for the 12-18 level, and be eligible to work in the US. Teaching experience in a Montessori environment is preferred, but others with at least 3 years experience teaching adolescents 12-18 years old will be considered.
