Assistant Montessori Teacher

Play a vital role in assisting the Lead Montessori teacher in all areas of the classroom -Work collaboratively in a team of highly dedicated teachers -Hold an authentic interest in the Montessori approach to education. He/she must display a willingness to actively work toward improving personal knowledge of the Montessori Method -Carefully prepare the Montessori classroom environment under guidance of the Lead Montessori teacher -Assist with planning and attend school community events/celebrations -Compile theme-based curriculum and related crafts and activities in after school program -Observe and record student progress -Well organized, dedicated and highly motivated -Great leadership and communication abilities -Ability to build strong relationships with both the child and his/her family -Will provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where a child’s potential to learn and explore is maximized -

Must be passionate about teaching young children and eager to ignite a love for learning in our students Has completed or willing to complete the following training First Aid/CPR 16 hours of professional development per year

Hours: 9:00-5:30
