Children's House Montessori School is located in a beautiful wooded setting in Reston, Virginia. We are a small, family-oriented school that offers half-day and full-day childcare programs for children 3 years of age through kindergarten.

Job Title: Assistant Teacher
Hours: 12:30-5:30
Education: High School diploma and 6 months in a child care setting required; related college-level course work is preferred.

Position Summary
Work collaboratively in a team of highly dedicated teachers. Carefully prepare the Montessori classroom environment under guidance of the Lead Montessori teacher. Hold an authentic interest in the Montessori approach to education. Assist with planning after school activities. Good leadership and communication abilities. Provide a warm, safe, and stimulating environment where a child’s potential to learn and explore is maximized.
