Montessori School of Alexandria is accepting applications for a full-time Early Childhood Montessori teacher for the 2018-2019 academic year. Teaching duties require knowledge and implementation of Montessori theory and principles. The candidate must be skilled at observation, managing varied classroom behaviors, developing lesson plans, and maintaining student reports and records. The candidate will be the lead teacher in a classroom of 20 students with an experienced assistant. Montessori School of Alexandria was established in 1970 and is a nonprofit, nonsectarian, private school run by a small Board of Directors. MSA serves around 90 children ages 3 through 12 on a wooded campus located in a residential neighborhood. MSA has 3 Early Childhood classrooms and 1 combined Lower and Upper Elementary classroom.
