Elementary Montessori Guide

Lovettsville Montessori School is in search of an elementary guide for our relatively new 6-12 elementary class. This person should be creative, organized and willing to take initiative. He/she should have good communication skills and a positive attitude.

We are a supportive team working together to create a high quality Montessori school with an emphasis on outdoor education. We have fun with the children, encouraging independence and high standards in our learning environment. We are a small independent school in the town of Lovettsville, VA in northern Loudoun County. We are within walking distance of the public library, a short drive to the MARC train (for outings to DC or nearby areas), and have great connections in the broader community.

The elementary class bakes, loves to sing and play music. In the PE program, they have gone biking, hiking and done yoga. We have an active Going Out tradition. We would love to have the person who fills this position to continue these and build on these activities with their own interests and talents. We would love to collaborate with you as we build our elementary community.

Applicants must have an AMI or AMS diploma.
