Cardinal Montessori School, located in Woodbridge, VA, is now accepting applications for a fulltime Lead Primary Montessori Teacher for the 2021-2022 school year. The position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am – 4:00 pm during the school year (9 ½ months). Lead Teacher Qualifications: • BA/BS degree preferred • Must have AMS/AMI teaching credentials • Must have strong references • Understanding of and commitment to Montessori philosophy as well as early childhood best practices • Knowledge of Montessori equipment and how to teach students using Montessori equipment • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to develop a strong connection with children and families • Effective time management and organizational skills • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance community • Must have a warm, supportive, and patient attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families • Kind, thoughtful, and strong at guiding children in self-motivated learning and helping stimulate their natural desire to learn • Qualified, enthusiastic, energetic, and nurturing individuals
