Lower and Upper Elementary Montessori Lead Teachers, Come join our team!
We are looking for teachers who are excited about teaching, engaged in planning for the future, and looking to be an active part of our community. We are growing and expanding our programs. We would like to have teachers ready to start the 2020-21 school year, and are willing to have teachers join our staff this year to ensure a smooth transition to additional classrooms. Looking for Montessori credentialed teachers or teachers with an elementary education degree who are willing to attend Montessori training.

Hours: Generally 8:00 am – 4:00 pm M-F; additional summer and after school classes available Benefits: Currently health and dental 100% covered; retirement after 3 years

ABOUT HAMPTON ROADS INTERNATIONAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL
Our students love coming to school! They are engaged; exploring, learning, growing and becoming independent by using interactive materials and hands-on experiences beginning at 16 months and continuing through 12 years of age.
140 students total and expanding elementary program.
We currently house 3 toddler communities; 3 children's house classrooms; 1 lower elementary program; 1 upper elementary program.
We believe that Montessori is a time-tested, child-centered approach to education that empowers children to become confident, creative, critical thinkers.
