Lower Elementary Assistant Teacher

Williamsburg, VA

Williamsburg Montessori School seeks an Assistant for our Lower Elementary classroom (ages 6-9) for the 2020-2021 school year. The assistant will support the Lead teachers in the preparation and organization of the classroom and will demonstrate respect, cooperation and professionalism when working with students and colleagues. Additional duties include supervision of children in the classroom, on the playground and on field trips.

The successful candidate will have experience working with elementary children and an interest in Montessori philosophy. Bachelor's degree required.
This is a full-time, 10 month position with benefits with the hours of 8:00am-4:00pm, Monday-Friday.
