Founded in 1982 as a non-profit, Williamsburg Montessori serves children ages 18 months to fourteen years. Our steadfast commitment to creating an authentic Montessori experience has created a dynamic educational environment governed by the Montessori philosophy. Located near historic Colonial Williamsburg, this is a beautiful area to live, work and play with mountains and beaches a 2 hour drive away!

Williamsburg Montessori is presently accepting applications for a Primary Lead Teacher position for the 2023-2024 school year. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, collaboration and problem solving skills, experience serving diverse learning needs, a passion for working with 3-6 year old students, and the ability to cultivate positive relationships with children, their families, and fellow colleagues.

A Bachelor's degree and Montessori credential for Early Childhood from a MACTE accredited program is required. At least three years of classroom teaching experience is preferred but would consider an Intern Teacher.
