Reading Specialist - PT

Williamsburg

WMS seeks a part-time reading specialist. The ideal candidate would possess a degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education with a Reading Specialist Certification.
The primary duties and responsibilities for this position will be:
Working with students (ages 6-9) with high needs in reading/language
Plan reading lessons for individual students as well as small groups
Keep written records, assess and evaluate reading strengths and weaknesses, and match skills with appropriate techniques
Communicate progress with teachers and parents

Experience: Degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education Reading Specialist Certification (Orton-Gillingham or Wilson Method preferred)
